ice cream scoop or measuring cup (I used ¼ cup)
Tongs for turning over accra and removing from pan
Fork for mixing ingredients
Ingredients

titiwi

flour

water

onion
chopped

cup
parsley
chopped
¼
cup
green onions
chopped
¼
cup
thyme
leaves

tbsp
hot peppers
chopped (you can increase or decreased the quantity based on your preference)

tbsp
turmeric

teaspoon
black pepper
salt
to your liking

tbsp
garlic powder
1
tbsp
baking powder

tbsp
lime/lemon

oil
Instructions
Place titiwi in a bowl and rinse with lemon/lime juice and water then drain titiwi
In another bowl, mix flour and water
Add all other ingredients and mix
Add titiwi to the mixture to create your titiwi batter
Add baking powder last and continue to mix
Heat oil in your saucepan or use a deep fryer
Using a scoop or measuring cup, take some of the batter and place in hot oil to fry
When it turns golden brown, turn it over other side
When cooked on both sides, place on a paper towel to cool and drain the oil
Enjoy with a special sauce or plain
